It would seem that the error is "not" related to HikaShop - not directly anyway.
There is "something" in the change from J4 to J5 that has rendered the helper...unhelpful...and throws the error depending on what software is trying to use that helper.
I've been waiting for Virtuemart to provide updates, which takes forever when you need them and too many updates when you don't need them.
Specifically, I'm trying only to access "Taxes and Calculation Rules". I click on the link to that part of VM and see the 3 different rules I created long ago.
Simply clicking on any 1 of them throws the 500 error.
One of those rules controls the quantity calculations. On the front end, the quantity rules no longer work.
So where do I find a fix for the helper?
Until I found this thread I thought it was a VM thing. But since others are having issues with various software, it would seem VM is not to blame - on this anyway.
And, yes. Behaviour - Backward Compatibility "IS" enabled in this project.
